The Grasslands Regional FCSS also provides funding to other agencies wishing to offer preventive programming, which fall within our mandate. FCSS greatly supports and encourages partnerships with other organizations to provide programming. Funding decisions are based on FCSS board identified community priorities. Eligible services that may be provided with FCSS funding must:
- Be of a preventive nature
- Help people develop:
- Independence and coping skills
- An awareness of social needs
- Interpersonal and group skills
Provide supports that help sustain people as active participants in their communities
Not duplicate services provided by government or government agencies.
